Doubt it, but I'm sure Josh and I could CD through it, but what be the point if everyone else is dead. No, being heavier gear will make meeting the dps-check easier, but not surviving it.
"Hand of Pain: After casting the move, both hands will slam down with AoE to the entire party. The damage will increase if both hands are farther apart in HP percentages, and decrease if they are closer together. The move is a wipe if the hand's HP difference is greater than 4%."
Again.. don't want to drive down a country road with this so I'll drop it, but was wondering if 4% is auto-wipe or just massive (pretty much unsurvivable) damage to put it simply. And when it's under 4%, does the damage outgoing decrease exponentially or more linear. Would there be any cases where a dps or healer would need a heal to survive under four percent outside of taking a cleave? I nitpick… I know. But that's who I am BLM4LYFE.
4% will hit hard, but we could probably survive. I don't know any math to associate with it. But let's pretend: 4%=100% 3%=75% 2%=50% 1%=25% Equal= 0 damage.
This is our wall at the moment. We need to first master the digititis here. I think if we can master that swap, and get comfortable with our positions, it will be easy to make the dps check. That's why I've been trying to really look at where I can be, and healers, and Josh, to minimize chaos moving around. I think we can break this wall next time in there.
It goes down exponentially after 4 percent. Much like scared cross in thordan. Damage is based on add hp difference if 4 percent is auto wipe 3.9 would do like 3/4 dmg.
Roger dat… looking forward, we're really going to need to start looking at our individuals skillsets and assigning stuns/heavys/etc for adds. I'm good for a lethargy, but from what I've read, a blizz1 is not a good option due to the cast time and loss of dps.
