Seeing how the first fight is all physical dmg. And the second fight is all Magic dmg. I think maybe tony should my the first boss and sol the 2nd. As ur run in thru since wil will still have stacks tony would have to pull the second boss. But if we go tony first then sol. We get war def on physical and we get magic dmg def with drk in 2nd fight: thoughts?

This is absolutely right. I was going to mention it before the fight. Either way, they have to switch due to stacks after first boss.

I know I'm beating a dead horse…. But we really need to ensure we can 1 shot that first boss. Also we need to ensure no one is getting hit by dashes… Each dash gives a dmg dealt down stack. Each dash refreshes the timer and add to the stacks. It's really important that no matter what we dodge this stuff. Every fight has a dmg realty down stack, so say 1 person gets one in every fight… They might aswell not have even been there because thier dps is gunna next to nothing.
I've spent some time online and everyone suggests that the first 2 fights need to be flawless because this is where you can pick up a lot of extra time by pushing these first 2 bosses. It's the difference between clearing and enrage making these 2 flawless.
Now going into phase 2 of the second fight, everyone needs to be on thier toes. The double drill stuns anyone extra hit by the dmg. Also avoid the spinning disks at all costs u might not think it's much but it is. Remember u making a mistake makes me need to heal more and effects my dps and yours and may cause me to lose the tank or other people.
Just cause u die doesn't mean it's the healers fault.
We need to start taking the blame for are own mistakes. I'm tired of seeing the same mechanic killing the same people multi times in a row and then not speaking up. Don't make excuses or explain every thing that lead to your death just say hey my bad I fucked up, and move on. These fights are raid awareness and not a dps check yoshi p even said so. So mechanics first and dps second please.
Hannah of u could going into that second phase throw up a succor, that way the tanks have awhile for the first one. Also everyone's need to be aware of u see a green and a tank run away from them. Don't make the tank wait leave ur ball ur dpsing on move away come back after the tank pops the green one. It's a large splash so move far away. Be proactive.
Also shouldn't need to use any cd's at all for the adds in the first fight. So open with your opener go hard we need to push him as fast as we can. Then the next major cd spot is the ball phase in the next fight many people suggest saving major cd's for here so u can pummel those balls. For the most part the fights should line up really well with cd's.
I'm hopeful on Wednesday we can push into the 3rd boss

Tony and I discussed several things after Monday night's run. We decided we're going to split the arena in phase 2 in half: I'll take North, he'll take south. We'll each handle the green orbs and help w/ dps in our areas, and Tony will still handle the big orbs. Reason for this is to split the green orb up rather than me having to run around the arena; I may miss 1-2, but worse, I'm WAY out of position for boss attachments. With Tony and I in the North and South, it is easy to bait the attachments. With Tony and I at N and S, everyone else is safe being E and W of center. So if Merc or I call "tank buster" or "share", all dps/healers just take 5 steps E or W and you're fine. Merc can perch himself on an E or W edge, and never have to move. Josh (who is our "near" person in phase 2) can stay on the E or W edge of center for your "near/far" call and never really move. I think this could clean up Tony's and my responsibilities.

Giving the DD's their quadrants was a good idea, and we should enforce this.

Phase 2 is NOT a dps check; all we have to do is survive it and the boss dies. The ONLY things we are attacking are the blue orbs. Hannah's dps is not needed here as much as her healing is for the aoe damage that we will endure: every green orb blast is aoe, the big orb blast is aoe, and damage from the attachments. Josh and Hannah should divide the healing somehow. Relying on one person to heal everything, in my opinion, won't work here. By sharing the healing, they can also find gaps to cast some dps, or more importantly, buffs/debuffs.

Merc and I agreed on terms that we will try to regularly use:
"scatter" for the one-drill attachment. Get away from each other
"near/far" for the double-drill (I think we've got this down in phase 1, but two needs awareness)
"tank buster" for single laser. MT will eat this (intend it to be me to the North in phase 2). everyone else just move away from middle a few steps.
"share" for double-laser. we've got this np for phase 1, but in phase two, again, everyone but Tony and I move a few steps aside. Doesn't matter if a healer wants to be here to help eat it, but dps should stay on their orbs.

There is no healing to split untill the big balls hit the middle… The green ones are only a "cure" if u cd right. So really we should be taking advantage l of Hannah dpsing atleast thru the green balls she can succor pre raid wide aoe dmg. And after while I medica. There's no need to split heals… If during that raid wide aoe either of us single heal anyone the rest of the grp will die. It's on everyone to ensure when the raid wide aoe goes off that u are close enough to us to get the aoe heal. And while it's not a dps check I'm going to refer back to my last post, these first two fights are where it's decided if u will clear or not. Making mistakes in these 2 are literally make or break. I know we are not pushing enrage but we need to start working on eating less stuff and pushing faster and arranging cd's for the first 2 fights properly. Would it not be better to split the tanks east west rather than north south. This way u only have to move inward from east or west to your marker to soak. Rather than debating who and when the north tank goes north and the south tank stays south. Or u both go north etc. Seems like east west would be less movement and less chance to mistakenly send a Tb or whatever the wrong direction. Although it's on the party to be aware and move if needed I'm just thinking simplicity sake. East west always worked way better in as3 then north south ever did. For whatever reason.

I get what you mean josh but until everyone is at that point it will beneficial for both of us to heal. If we go about it that way josh all we will get is saltiness and that a fact. At least this way they can figure out their optimal rotation for that phase then when comfortable can incorporate appreciate cds to help mitigate the damage. Since in all honesty we really need to slow, heavy one of the green orbs, and I don't have to be in CS to do that.

Was thinking about Swindler's Biorhythmics (rings w/ orbs inside; I might have the wrong name), but I was thinking about the teams we'd want for this.

I will be tanking Swindler close to center/north on the intersection of the lines to make it easy for "height" mechanic and melee. I imagine Merc will line up behind Swindler, so here's my thoughts:

1 tank and 1 healer will ALWAYS get the rings, so we need two teams. For tanks, obviously Tony and I will always share the ring. For third, Ash joins us. For 4th, whoever our new dps will be.

For healers, Merc will always be the #2, and this is why: if Merc is lined up behind Swindler, whichever healer gets the ring can simply run to Merc, allowing him to never stop casting. For 3 orbs, both healers run to Merc. For 4, the new dps joins them.

Kahlan is our strongest melee, and this way he never has to leave the boss. The rings will NEVER be 4 and 4, which is why the 4th person can be the same.

So, to wrap up:
tank team:
2 orbs: Sol, Tony
3 orbs: Sol, Tony, Ash
4 orbs: Sol, Tony, Ash, new person

healer team:
2 orbs: healer, Merc
3 orbs: both healers, Merc
4 orbs: both healers, Merc, new person

Funny you should bring this up as I've been thinking on this as well. The only thing I was waffling on was including two healers and two tanks in the same set respectively - since losing both of one or the other is pretty much a guaranteed wipe. However, I feel that failing this mech is a wipe anyway so we may as well go with your set up.
